Every good relationship is based on trust. Cauzal is committed to building and maintaining your trust. This Privacy Policy outlines how Cauzal LLC ("Cauzal") uses and safeguards the personal information provided by you. Please read this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use agreement carefully before accessing, signing up, purchasing from, or otherwise using this site (the "Web Site"). By accessing, signing up, purchasing from, or otherwise using this Web Site, you agree to be bound by this agreement.

PRIVACY POLICY

What Kind of Information Do We Collect?
When you are merely visiting our Web Site, we do not collect any specific personal information about you. If you decide to make a purchase, we collect the necessary information to process your transaction. For your convenience, we also store this information for future purchases. If you apply to use OurCauze or MyCauze to assist in your fundraising efforts, we collect information from your application, including the name of your organization; the specifics of your fundraiser; specific contact information including full name, address, e-mail address, phone number, etc.; and, if you choose, the e-mail addresses of the individuals to whom you would like to send a customized e-mail to purchase products through Cauzal.com.

How Do We Use the Information You Provide Us?
We may use any information you provide us for marketing research and other marketing purposes. We may also use certain information about your product preferences to send you e-mails about special offers or items we believe you might be interested in. We also send confirmations to your e-mail address on all transactions you initiate through our Web Site. Cauzal adheres to a strict anti-spam policy. If you wish not to receive future newsletters or marketing information from Cauzal, please notify us at unsubscribe@cauzal.com.

We also use your order information or pass it on to our suppliers to ensure that the products you order are delivered to the location you specify.

If you are utilizing OurCauze or MyCauze, we use the information you provide to attribute credit to you and your group for orders placed by people you have sent to our Web Site. If you upload a photograph, we use this photograph on emails that are sent to your contacts during the fundraiser period and on the customized screens on the website, that can be accessed by those to whom your customized emails have been sent. The Primary Contact for the specific fundraising group will have access to a password-protected area on our Web Site to download a list of the individuals who have made purchases benefiting your specific fundraiser. This list will contain the contact information and purchase amounts/details for each purchaser (but not credit card information).

Does Cauzal Share Your Information with Any Third Party?
Cauzal does not sell or rent your personal information, including credit card information, to any third party, subject to the remainder of this policy.

When you purchase products to be delivered by our business partners or suppliers, we provide them with the personal information they require to process and deliver your order.

We may sell, trade, or share nonpersonal aggregate or summary information about our customers with our strategic partners, advertisers, or other third parties. This information does not contain any personal data specifically identifiable with you.

We retain the right to release your personal information to proper authorities when required by law or when we in good faith believe that we must release the information in order to: (a) satisfy a legal order or comply with legal process; (b) defend the rights of Cauzal or its affiliates or business partners; or (c) protect the personal safety of Cauzal employees, agents, affiliates, business partners, customers, or Web Site users.

How Does Cauzal Use Cookies?
Cauzal uses standard "cookie" technology and Web server logs to collect information. Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive and relayed back to our servers. Some cookie information is used to understand customers' Web traffic patterns (dates, times, pages viewed, Web sites visited just before and just after our Web Site, etc.). This information is collected on an aggregate basis and is used to understand customer preferences and to enhance the customer's experience on our Web Site. Other cookie information is used to enable such functions as storing and retrieving passwords, user name, tracking orders placed by your friends and family, and attributing their orders to your specific fundraiser.

Additional Privacy Policy Information
We process customer orders and collect and store personally identifiable information using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology. SSL encrypts the information you input before it is sent to us via the Internet. In addition, Cauzal takes commercially reasonable steps to secure all of the information we collect from you on our Web Site and store on Cauzal's servers against unauthorized access.

While our products and services may be used as fundraisers for children's or students' activities and organizations, we do not collect any personal information about children. Our Web Site is not intended for use by children under the age of thirteen. Parents and/or teachers of children under 13 must provide their own personal information in order to participate in our programs. We take all reasonable efforts to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA).

In the unlikely event that substantially all of the assets of Cauzal or one of its divisions or service offerings are acquired by another company, information related to our business, including our customers' and Web Site users' personal information, will of course be one of the transferred assets. We also retain the right to assign this information to a parent, subsidiary entity, or other affiliate of Cauzal.

Cauzal business partners, suppliers, and any third parties reached through our Web Site have separate privacy policies that may have different terms from our policy, or they may have no privacy policy at all. Cauzal has no responsibility for these policies and accepts no liability for the actions of these third parties. Please review the privacy policies of these third parties to determine how they protect your rights.
